Cookie and Storage Technology Policy
1. Technologies Covered
This Policy applies to:
- cookies;
- local storage;
- pixels;
- tags;
- SDKs;
- device storage; and
- comparable technologies.
2. Categories
Strictly Necessary
Used for: authentication; session management; security; fraud prevention; load balancing; checkout; and user-requested functionality. These cannot be disabled as they are required for basic site and application operations.
Functional
Used to remember settings, layout choices, and user-selected preferences across page views and sessions.
Analytics
Used to understand site performance, latency, error telemetry, and aggregate usage patterns to improve systems and interfaces.
Advertising
Used for advertising or cross-site measurement where lawfully enabled and where affirmative consent has been granted.
3. Consent
Where law requires consent, Aeltrix will not activate non-essential storage/access technology until valid consent is obtained. Rejecting optional technologies will not disable strictly necessary functionality.
4. Withdrawal
Users may change consent choices at any time through the cookie-preference interface. Withdrawal of consent will be as easy as giving consent where required by law.
5. Global Privacy Control
Aeltrix will recognize and honor valid browser-based opt-out signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where legally required.
6. Current Cookie Register
The website maintains a dynamically accurate cookie register containing: cookie or technology name; provider; purpose; category; duration; and whether the provider receives information. The production register must be based upon an actual scan of the deployed websites and applications and must not list cookies that are not used.
