Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy
Standards intended to prevent bribery, improper payments, corrupt influence, concealed conflicts, and misuse of intermediaries in Aeltrix business activities.
1. Zero Tolerance for Bribery
Aeltrix Technologies LLC prohibits offering, promising, authorizing, requesting, accepting, or providing anything of value to improperly influence a business or governmental decision.
2. Public Officials
No employee, contractor, agent, partner, reseller, or intermediary acting for Aeltrix may provide improper benefits to public officials, political parties, candidates, state-owned-enterprise personnel, or persons acting on their behalf.
3. Commercial Bribery
Kickbacks, secret commissions, side payments, sham consulting fees, undisclosed rebates, and other corrupt commercial arrangements are prohibited even where no government official is involved.
4. Gifts and Hospitality
Business courtesies must be lawful, reasonable, infrequent, transparent, and not intended to secure improper advantage. Cash and cash equivalents should not be offered as gifts. Higher-risk gifts or hospitality should be reviewed before commitment.
5. Facilitation Payments
Facilitation or grease payments are prohibited except where a payment is necessary to address an imminent threat to health or safety. Any such emergency payment must be reported and accurately recorded as soon as practicable.
6. Third Parties
Aeltrix may conduct risk-based diligence on agents, consultants, resellers, referral partners, suppliers, and other intermediaries. Third parties must not be used to do indirectly what Aeltrix may not lawfully do directly.
7. Records
Payments, reimbursements, discounts, commissions, gifts, and business expenses must be accurately documented. False invoices, off-book accounts, misleading descriptions, and concealed beneficial recipients are prohibited.
8. Conflicts and Reporting
Potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed. Suspected bribery, corruption, retaliation, or falsification of records may be reported to legal@aeltrix.io. Good-faith reports should not result in retaliation.
