Abuse & Illegal Content Policy

Notice, investigation, emergency action, preservation, enforcement, and appeal procedures for misuse of covered Aeltrix Services.

Effective Date: September 17, 2026
Abuse reports: abuse@aeltrix.io
Emergency security reports: security@aeltrix.io
Good-faith notices are reviewed proportionately

1. Reporting

Report suspected phishing, malware, fraud, unlawful content, network abuse, spam, credential theft, exploitation, impersonation, or other misuse to abuse@aeltrix.io. Include URLs, resource identifiers, timestamps, evidence, and contact information where available.

2. Review

Aeltrix may assess reports using account data, technical logs, security telemetry, content supplied with the report, provider information, and other lawful evidence. A report does not guarantee removal or account termination; action depends on applicable law, contract, severity, evidence, jurisdiction, and technical capability.

3. Emergency Action

Aeltrix may immediately disable credentials, block traffic, quarantine resources, suspend services, or preserve evidence when reasonably necessary to address active exploitation, malware, imminent harm, legal orders, sanctions risk, or material threats to service integrity.

4. Illegal Content

Aeltrix may restrict access to material whose possession, hosting, transmission, or distribution is unlawful, including content subject to valid legal orders or mandatory reporting obligations. Where law requires notice-and-action procedures, Aeltrix will implement them for the affected service and jurisdiction.

5. Preservation and Disclosure

Aeltrix may preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary for security investigation, legal hold, dispute resolution, or lawful governmental process. Disclosure to authorities occurs only where legally required or otherwise permitted by law and applicable policy.

6. Customer Notice

Where practicable and lawful, Aeltrix will notify the affected customer of enforcement action and the basis for it. Notice may be delayed or withheld when prohibited by law, necessary to protect an investigation, or likely to increase harm.

7. Appeals

A customer may request review of an abuse enforcement decision by replying to the notice or contacting abuse@aeltrix.io with relevant facts. Aeltrix may maintain emergency restrictions while an appeal is reviewed.

8. No General Monitoring Obligation

This Policy does not create a contractual duty to proactively monitor all customer content or detect every violation. Aeltrix may use automated or manual abuse controls where appropriate.
